The Straw Bale Cabin has been a popular holiday hide away for 4 years now! In half term we gave it a coat of Earthborn clay paint (Vanilla) and I found some bright checked curtains in The Salvation Army shop to use as a base for some new curtains in the Cabin. Also a very good quality second hand sofa bed replaces the old, sad looking blue one and Sam has made some new French doors - which fit perfectly!
Just the outside to paint and limewash when the weather picks up - spring is definately in the air :-)
I like it, looks completely different to how I recall and amazing what a new colour can do to refresh a place.

The design is quite refreshing to the eye, love the colors and ambiance. I wish we could go on a straw bale cabin this coming holiday.

I have to say that it looks beautiful and having the straw bale cabins on the property ads perfectly to the feel of a calm and peaceful healing space.
